Timberline Scrapping

In January, I attended a week-end crop and managed to make several pages for my personal scrapbook of our property in the country.

I used the retired Timberline papers and embellishments.  It doesn't seem fair to show them off when they're not available anymore. I do more cardmaking than I do scrapbooking. But I also want to showcase the versatility of the CTMH papers and MyStickease elements, no matter the paper pattern.

I added further texture and interest with die cuts using the Artbooking cartridge.

Blossom Journaling Box

I finished the journaling box from my Blossom Workshop on the Go pack. I used a bit more Pear paper than I had left from the cardmaking to finish, but I think it's really cute!!!

Avonlea Sympathy

My last remaining Great Aunt  passed away and I was unable to attend due to foot surgery,  but I made some beautiful sympathy cards for family members.

This card is not all CTMH (gasp!),  but the Avonlea papers were perfect.

I paired the paper with an Amazing Grace chalkboard stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs.

The stamp is heat-embossed with Stampendous Peridot embossing powder. It makes a gorgeous glossy image.

Recollections lace and a wide ribbon were a pretty touch.

I cut some scrolls with the Artiste cartridge from Flaxen paper and used them with paper flowers as an accent.

The buttons are retired CTMH in translucent Olive.

Not a great occasion to be making cards, but I think it came out well and I hope they are comforted.

Japanese Blossom

I've been on a blogging hiatus again...partly due to a few medical procedures, but I've been busy making cards & scrapping, too!

February & March I was making wedding invitations (150), Disney-themed Birthday Party invitations and a banner for out great-grandsons' 2nd Birthday, and 1st Birthday invitations for a friend's daughter. These are posted on my alternate blog, Dawn's Cards and Craft Garden, because they are not really 100% CTMH. Although I did use my CTMH Cricut cartridges and other CTMH products. I've tried to keep this blog focused on new CTMH products and specials.

I just recently made 2 cards using the Quick Cards - Japanese Blossom set. I paired it with some of my Laughing Lola scraps.

The stamp is heat-embossed with black detail embossing powder, then colored with watercolor pencils and blended.

I had some Studio G washi tape that exactly matched the CTMH Gypsy purple paper that I used to layer the stamped image. Then I added some Jolee's bling.

The second card used Laughing Lola purple and CTMH black shimmer trim and Hero Arts ribbon with the Jolee's bling rhinestone embellishments.

I love how they turned out.  Thank you for looking!
