Season's Tweetings Tags

I was pretty busy stamping over the past few weeks, but did not get all of my projects posted. This was one of the projects I made for the Vendor Fair. I cut a few extra tags using the Artiste Cricut cartridge.

I used the Season's Tweetings stamp set with black ink, and watercolor pencils with blending pens. I stamped the sentiments with Ruby ink.

The Season's Tweetings stamp set is available through December 31.

Peaceful Village

This card was cased from Pinterest. The design combines the church from the Christmas Village set, with Classy Doily stamped on Frosted paper, layered with gold cardstock.

The sentiment is from the October SOTM - Scandinavian Wishes.

I used Versamark ink and Gold embossing powder for a shimmery, raised effect. Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques.

Of course, I have to add ribbon and bling of some sort to finish the card.

I loved the simplicity of this card.

Thank you for looking!

Sparkle & Shine Scrapbooking!

I don't usually make scrapbooks but I decided to try the Sparkle  & Shine papers as scrapbook pages. I started with a Pinterest idea and worked from there.

I stamped a snowflake from the Frosted WOTG on the cardstock, and used the Sparkle & Shine embellishments.

A couple of nice close-ups of the individual pages.

The second double layout uses leftover pieces of paper from the first layout.

plus a title I cut on my Cricut using the Artbooking cartridge.

It's on page 76 of the instruction book.

I also experimented with the sizes on the Overlay, and wrote little notes in my book. At the time, I had a 6" Cricut -- but for Christmas, Dear Hubby gave me a new Expressions 2 12" Cricut. So I can cut full overlays now!

It was a lot of fun and re-kindled my interest in scrapping :).

Craft Fair Report

My adventures at the vendor fair included setting up two CTMH tables with a "Make and Take" station and a paper display. My scrapbook pages were displayed in a standing frame from Michael's. It is too cute!!! My dear hubby helped me get set up and patiently assisted!
Because it was originally scheduled on the 14th I think everyone was done buying for Christmas...but I made a few contacts and handed out some catalogs so it was a good event. I sold the Peace decoration to another vendor, LOL, who was lovely to chat with.
The make & take was the Season's Tweetings Gift Tags, which are a lot of fun!
The bonus was visiting with our niece and her family, who had a Thirty-One table next to mine.

WOYWW 237 - Something Different

So What's on My Workdesk this Wednesday??

Usually I'm making cards,  but right now I have a scrapbook layout I am putting together to show off at a craft fair this Sunday. (I'm a little behind as it was originally last Saturday and was re-scheduled due to an ice and snow storm.)(like Julia, am having trouble doing it all) Christmas Cards are in the mail today...LOL.

I used CTMH Sparkle and Shine papers and the coordinating dimensional elements. I think I will stamp down the side of the right hand page on the Juniper cardstock. Due to the time crunch I cannot take credit for the design...I am "scraplifting" from Pinterest.  Cute, though!

Thank you for stopping by and check the other posts at the WOYWW blog!

Sparkle & Shine Decor

This awesome decoration uses the papers in the Sparkle & Shine paper pack!
I sanded some wooden letters from Michael's and sprayed them with white primer. Then I painted them lightly with off - white acrylic paint.
I cut sections of paper and trimmed them close to the edge of the letters. I used ModPodge as glue, then sealed them with Mod-Podge as well!
After the letters dried again,  I added some embellishments and a little nylon netting to dress it up and they look fabulous on the bookshelf!

While supplies last!!!

Card Chatter - Birthday - Retiring CTMH Set
Check out the retiring list for the end of the year on my website.

It's one last chance at the sets you haven't bought yet! Also, it's the last chance for the Paper Packs that will not carry over into the next catalog after February.

One of the retiring stamp sets is Card Chatter - Birthday.  It's one of my most used sets.

Also -- check out the WHILE SUPPLIES LAST link... There are a few basic supplies that CTMH will not be carrying...good time to scoop them up!!!

Just contact me or order from my CTMH business website!

December Specials...

December is here, whether we are ready or not -- I'm not!

But CTMH is and they have a great December Stamp of the Month, Special Care, to help capture those little moments.

See the Stamp of the Month tab for further details, or go to my OBA to view the catalog listing.

Special Care

If I could finish my Christmas cards, I will move on to experimenting with this "special" stamp set. I can think of some really cute scrapbook layouts with my nieces and nephews...
